In the news

Just a note to post a link to the article in the Northwest Herald today: Cary woman joins Peace Corps, to be stationed in Ecuador (zero embarrassing stories from my parents, oddly enough). If this article does attract readers from McHenry County and other places nearby, welcome :)

...hope you're enjoying the snow as much as I am :)

  2. Very cool! Nice article about you and PC. Funny, if I took a picture out my front window right now, it would look eerily similar to yours. Do you get lake effect snow in Illinois?

  3. Hi Christina,
I corrected the blog address on the website this afternoon and there will be a correction in the paper tomorrow. I'm sorry again for the error. If you have projects you'd like help or coverage on in the next two years keep me posted and I promise to get the web address right in subsequent print :)

  4. Tracy: This picture is actually from early 2010, but it was close for a second. I'll be posting a video soon of the snow :) We do get lake effect snow, but it's somewhat rare because we're on the wrong side of the lake. We had a lake effect storm on Christmas in the northern suburbs that I unfortunately had to drive through :(

Katie: No problem, thanks for the invite :) :) You bet I'll keep you posted!
